Coming Soon: 2019 Jeep Cherokee

The Jeep Cherokee broke the mold in SUV design. Yet, it offered the capability and utility a Jeep is known to offer. How do you improve on an authentic, premium, and bold vehicle?

Soon, Bob Novick Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram will welcome the new 2019 Jeep Cherokee. This one will take this popular SUV to the next step forward.

While there are no major changes in the structure and basic design of the current Cherokee, there are a lot of updates that are visible and invisible. The new front end cleans up a complaint by non-Jeep Cherokee customers featuring new headlamp units, a flatter grille area, and a new bumper design. IN the back are new taillights, a new tailgate and rear bumper. The rear license plate is now recessed in the tailgate above the bumper. Plus, the tailgate is available with a hands-free operation. Five new wheel designs - each representing a specific trim level on the 2019 Cherokee.

Inside are several enhancements. Included is the new UConnect 4 infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity. The trim around the instrument panel has improved with new piano black and satin chrome finishes. If you look up, there is now a new dual pane sunroof for letting the sun, the moon, and the stars shine inside.

While the Tigershark 2.4-lter four-cylinder and Pentastar 3.2-liter V6 engines remain in the lineup, they will be joined by an all-new 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine. The new engine offers 270 horsepower, while gaining the most torque available on the Cherokee - 295 lb-ft. Equipped with the V6, towing capacity is up to 4,500 pounds. Both the V6 and the turbo get engine stop-start technology for better efficiency and improved emissions.

Everything is enhanced for the new engine and drive systems. The Cherokee will be available with Active Drive II, with a two-speed transfer system and a low ratio and Active Drive Lock with a locking rear differential for optimal traction and terrain control.

The 2019 Cherokee will come in five trim levels: Sport, Latitude, Limited, Trailhawk, and Overland.

Bob Novick Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram is expecting our first 2019 Cherokees in the first quarter of 2018. Ciontact us to become one of the first to get this authentic mid-sized SUV now enhanced for today's Jeep owner.
